Hayden Trail is quite close to my home. It overlooks the entire city of Denver. This particular area has a calmness..a solitude..whether it's covered in snow..or sunlit in summer. In this painting, my aim was to capture that feeling of content..of "home"..like that one moment every now and then, when you look around..and suddenly realize..you are content in your life. I tried to capture that stillness in the earthy colors..the old wooden fence. Keywords: landscape
