FORT WORTH STAR TELEGRAM..."Leding has a poetic talent for visually describing what she is feeling and thinking."
ARTSPEAK...a New York gallery publication..."ANNE DIXON LEDING draws her emotional power from past experiences and the lessons of traditional figurative paintings in modern dress. Her drawings and gouaches show figures that stand out starkly in her rather realistic interpretations...The scenes are thoroughly thought through in order to become pregnant with meaning...carrying a unique experience and evoking a special emotion...Leding knows how to seize the visual moment and place it on paper or canvas. She has the gift of direct honesty in depicting each narrative with a reality all the more immediate because it does express a particular feeling that is connectedto an idea."
